2024 June Changes

  • The Court will observe the legal holiday, per the Governor’s Proclamation, on June 4th, and June 5th 2024.  The date on the main calendar is incorrect.

The court schedule generally provides for the following in each division:

  • Felony jury trial week

  • Civil jury trial/bench trial week

  • Hearings of traffic court, misdemeanors, juvenile court, felony motions, child support cases, drug court matters, civil motions, civil pre-trials, felony pre-trials, family matters and arraignments.

The Courthouse is closed on weekends and holidays. Holidays are listed below.

  • New Years Day

  • Martin Luther King Jr’s birthday

  • Washingtons Birthday

  • Mardi Gras Day

  • Good Friday

  • Memorial Day

  • Juneteenth (June 19th).

  • Independence Day

  • June 5th, Friday after Independence Day

  • Labor Day

  • All Saints Day

  • General Election Day

  • Veterans Day

  • Thanksgiving Day

  • Friday after Thanksgiving

  • Christmas Eve

  • Christmas Day

  • New Years Eve

  • Governor Declared Holidays and Closures
